Giorgio di Sant'Angelo Biplane Knit Vintage 70s Maxi Dress S/M

This iconic Giorgio di Sant'Angelo knit dress features bold color blocking with a novelty airplane graphic, scoop neck bodice with rib knit collar, long sleeves with rib knit cuffs, and a maxi length skirt.

A dress identical to this one has been exhibited at the Phoenix Art Museum as part of their Giorgio di Sant’ Angelo retrospective that took place in fall 2011 / winter 2012. See images.

The sweater was was also mentioned in a 1973 Time Magazine article titled “Fashion is an Honest Sweater.” The last image is a picture of Giorgio in the sweater. That matches this dress.
